Your Tradingster account
Sign-in, password recovery, saved data and privacy guidance for your Tradingster account.
Public COT reports, charts, and available Help guides can be read without signing in.
Your account and basic watchlist stay free. Positioning summaries, COT Analysis, and COT Signals are free during the preview and may require a subscription later. We’ll give advance notice before the preview ends.
Sign in and verify your email
Sign in to use your saved watchlist, or create a free account. Verify your email before using COT Tools.
Follow the verification link sent to your email address. Available public Help guides, COT reports and charts do not require an account.
The optional newsletter box on registration is unchecked. If you select it, newsletter signup requires a separate confirmation email from Tradingster Updates. Verifying your account does not confirm the newsletter, and newsletter confirmation does not verify your account. You can create and use an account without choosing the newsletter.
If sign-in reports too many attempts, wait a few minutes before trying again. You can still log out of an existing session.
If a form says it has expired, reload the page and try again. This also lets the site finish clearing an older account cookie. An expired-form response does not submit your sign-in or use an email confirmation link.
If a public preview end is configured, Preview details and Account settings show it with its UTC time. That is the end of the public analytical preview, not an expiration date for your free account or basic watchlist. No date is shown when no end has been configured.
Settings shows your account details and lets you change your password. My Watchlist lets you edit your saved markets. For browser storage, data requests and recovery limits, see Account data and privacy.
Password and verification email help
Use Forgot password to request a password-reset email. If your account still needs email verification, use Resend verification.
Check the address you entered and your junk or spam folder. Follow the instructions on the form and in the email; delivery times are not guaranteed.
If you see “Too many email requests,” wait before requesting another email. Registration, password-reset and verification emails share this limit.
Changing your password in Settings requires your current password. A successful password change or password reset signs that browser out; this is not a control for signing out every other device. Password recovery restores access to an existing account; it does not restore deleted Watchlist items or prove that an account can be recovered from a backup.
Account verification and password-reset emails are separate from Tradingster Updates. Creating an account does not subscribe you to the newsletter, and unsubscribing from it does not close your account. Account emails may record opens; authentication buttons are excluded from click tracking. See the account privacy section for details.
Account data and privacy
What is saved? Your account has an email address, identifier, status and account dates. Your Watchlist saves markets and their order, not broker balances or trading positions. Use Settings to review account details and My Watchlist to change saved markets. Email changes, exports and account deletion do not have self-service controls.
What stays in my browser? An essential cookie keeps your session. Your browser also remembers the Watchlist display preference and sign-in/change markers. If optional caching is enabled, it keeps account-linked Watchlist and COT result copies without your email, password or authentication tokens. Copies can be reused for up to twenty-four hours, or thirty minutes for the market catalogue, after a fresh access check. Expiry limits reuse; an offline browser may still hold an old copy. Preferences and local change markers have no timed expiry. Clearing Tradingster site data signs that browser out and removes its stored state, but leaves the server account and Watchlist intact.
Does my account expire? Session access ends after seven days without activity or thirty days from the session's start. This does not delete your account. There is no automatic account deletion for inactivity. An analytical preview end is also separate from your account and basic Watchlist.
How are data requests handled? The Privacy Policy's account section explains owner-assisted access, correction and deletion requests and the existing contact route. Verification may be needed. Do not send passwords, session cookies or verification codes. A request is reviewed individually; it is not an automatic export or deletion action. Some security, delivery-restriction or recovery records need separate handling, and offline browser copies cannot be remotely erased.
Can lost data be recovered? Removing a market changes your current saved list. Any Undo offered on the page is temporary, not a stored account history. Database backups have separate expiry and do not by themselves recover sign-in identities. During this free preview, we cannot guarantee recovery of your account or saved Watchlist after a serious service failure. You may need to create a new account and rebuild your Watchlist, and the member tools may remain unavailable. Keep a separate note of the markets you follow. Password-reset help and backup recovery are different things.
